Needing a Boost

We've been looking at plane/hotel tickets recently. It seems within the next few weeks will be the best time to buy, and when we purchase them as a package it will save a whole lot! That being said - we need the money...

God has blessed us greatly in that we have enough for half the airfare/hotel so far! And if it comes down to it, we'll put it on credit - though we really don't want to. We do know however, that God wants us to go this fall and will provide eventually, but it would be nice not to have to pay interest on it. ;-)

That being said, would you prayerfully consider helping to support us financially for this fall trip? We know it is through His people that He works. We also know we are to humble ourselves before Him - and at many times our brothers and sisters - and ask for help. We were never meant to do this alone, and I thank you in advance for your support: Both the financial and the prayers!

We have hit the paperwork phase!

Ruel and I are very excited about a great conversation we had with some GEM leaders in Dublin last Thursday. Not only was it a blessing to hear that perhaps our passions may not be so far fetched and "out there", but we just really enjoyed talking to them!

Please pray for us as we begin the application process for this organization. Hopefully, between this and the visit this October, we will know fairly soon if GEM is the organization God has called us to work with while we are there.

Nothing much has changed over the last few weeks. We are still raising funds for this first trip in October, still trying to figure out whom to meet with and when, and still having the dross burned out of us in our Sonship class. Basically the Schedule Book & Check Book of this whole adventure has not moved much at all.

But underneath, the roots, of this season in our lives are growing strong.

We see no change, but have more confidence.
We understand less, but are more assured.
We face more impossibilities, but are able to stand more firm.

God is growing a great change in us.... and it's as green as the Emerald Isle herself.
