Thank you all for the prayers and support! We desperately needed $2200 for this trip tomorrow and another bit for the trip in December. As of this afternoon, you all have been God's hands and feet to bless us with $2740!!

Please Take The Time To Read This

Praise God we leave in a week for Greater Europe Mission Candidate school!

We are so excited to be taking this next step. It will be - one way or another - just the thing we need to start being affirmative. No longer will it be, "If we are accepted....", "When we know who we're going with...." or "We might be doing....". We will finally know.

We also are praising God for what He's going to do, and that takes a faith that I'm having to get use to. We need a little over $2000 to go next week. A lot of it can be reimbursed after we start raising funds, but $1250 can not. During that week we need to hand them a check - or several checks - that will pay for the actual session in that amount. And we only have $500 so far.

Will you pray that it will be supplied to us before we go? We have no extra emergency account to draw this from, so must rely completely on the Lord. If the Spirit lays it on your heart to help us financially in this, please make out your tax-deductible check to "Greater Europe Missionsbut do not put our names on it. You can give the check to us and when we are given an account number that week, can add it on to pay our fee.

You can:
  • give the check directly to us,
  • give it to Mrs. Kim in Third Baptist Church's office,
  • or mail it to us @ 1006 Dellrose Dr., Bell Buckle, TN  37020

Ruel and I covet your prayers in this. We know the Lord will provide for the path He's put us on. and we know that He has given us fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to be His hands. Thank you so much for your prayer in this!

May you experience His love today-

The Love of the Irish

It has amazed me how many people just love Ireland.

Every time we talk with people about our call to move to Ireland we hear, "Oh, I've always wanted to go there!" There is just something enchanting about the emerald isle! There's someone else who longs to dwell there, in the heart of the Irish: The Holy Spirit. The beautiful green landscape is deceptive in this dark land. Dark, because the Light does not shine brightly there.

I use to think there were plenty of Christians in Ireland. There are beautiful cathedrals everywhere and the religious heritage is rich. But those beautiful churches stand near empty - except for the tourist's camera flash - and the spirit covering the hearts of the people bow to nature, spirits, and false gods. Evangelical Christians make up only 1-2% of the entire population. That's less than both Africa and China. The Irish have had enough of religion. They don't trust the church. They need to meet Jesus...

We need your help!

Right now, we are creating a database that will be both for prayer and financial support, and we desperately need you! To find out more about our calling to serve the Irish, please send us your:

Why Europe?

We have so much to tell you about how God is working in our lives and in Dublin, Ireland right now! So, so much that I still need to process it before coming to you. :)

The following is a video made by GEM that explains why people are being called to serve in Europe as opposed to other areas of the world. Please pray for these nations, and especially the Irish.

More From Dublin

What an amazing few days it has been!

I'm sitting here looking out the window to a city I have grown to love recently. Admittedly, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Dublin. Never having been a big city girl, I wondered if I'd feel trapped or over crowded: Not at all. Granted, I know we only been here less than a week, but instead of becoming anxious, I'm falling in love with the people. Dublin is so much more diverse than I thought, with people from all over Europe. I keep thinking, "What an amazing opportunity!" And I don't have to go very far - at least from my hotel or the downtown area - to see the sea and natures beauty.

There have been some moments where we've felt overwhelmed with all the challenges of moving here, but God's been faithful to the peace we have through Him. Yes, this is a world-renown roller-coaster ride, but we are securely fasten in our seats by His love and desire to bless us by being a part of these people coming to know Him personally. What a blessing!

Following are links to more of our pictures. Enjoy them, and say a pray for the people who live here as well as those God has called to this city in order to share Him.

Dublin, Ireland Days 1-2

Click on the links below for our first two days of pictures. We had a wonderful morning of worship and also got to meet with a few GEM peoples. Even though our legs are sore from walking, we had the most blessed and amazing day. There are some amazing things brewing here!

Enjoy :-)
